I
Dead is my world, since you have been gone,
Dark is my life, since you aren't its throne,
Show me the path, I'm lost in the night
Since you left, I've been searching for light

II
Long time ago, I changed my point of view,
I'm tired of waiting, waiting for you
I don't care if you're hurt, have you ever heard my calls?
I've begged you, now I'm building up my walls
I'll lock myself in safe entrance of my shell,
I wont give in, I know you too well

Not a whisper, not a thought,
Not a kiss nor look be lost

III
You'll hurt me again, you'll break my heart,
I can't live like that, I don't have strength for new start
I'll embrace the darkness, at least it means no harm,
I'll walk into the shadows and forget your charm.

IV
There's nothing you can do, there's no coming back
Go on with your life, follow your own track.
Let me be, leave me like you did before
You can't hurt me anymore.
You've turned pale and you're ice cold,
your heart is stone and soul to Devil sold.

Not a whisper, not a thought,
Not a kiss nor look be lost

V
I shall rise again, from my previous form,
From dust and ashes and thunderstorm
Your heart will pump for me, I'll make you bleed,
My thirst will be unsatisfied, I'll always feed.
Your days are numbered, just wait and see,
like you held onto life, you'll hold onto me.

VI
I've walked through dark alleys
calling your name,waiting for you,
but only response I got was
from cold wind and dried leaves in the view.

I won't regret my decision, it's new divide,
I'm the child of night now, I've changed the side.

Not a whisper, not a thought,
Not a kiss nor look be lost
*written on a cold, windy night, while thinking of eternity and pain*

just something for the contest of shadow poetry ^^
enjoy

Wow :omfg: This is fantastic! I like how you divided it with roman numurals each stanza would make a gr8 short poem but the way you combined them into one longer poem was flawless, good job!
